I really liked this assignment. It's very neat to know how to make something 3D images like movies we watch. Once I figured out what I was doing wrong I could really tell in some of the images how they became 3D. Also, liked that it wasn't hard at all to do:)

Great job Lauren! My favorite has to be the first one! The distance you can see in it is awesome! The scarecrow and dinosaur one are funny. Although the one with the guy on the bench is good, the white is on his shirt and hat blended in with the white background. You did an awesome job!
ReplyDeleteLauren, your images are great! My favorite on is definitely the dinosaur, it's pretty great. Your second image is a little weird for me, I think if the guy was closer it would be more effective.
ReplyDeleteNicely done! The strongest ones are no doubt the scarecrows and the dinosaur. They have a nice sense of space and in the dinosaur, there's even a twig that pops out of the screen toward us. It's a shame that the dinosaur's red color gets dulled. The man on the park bench has a nice sense of space, as well, but Mallory is right; his bright hat and bright shoulder blend in with the bright patch of sky behind him which throws off the 3D in that spot. Otherwise it works. The mailbox image seems a bit flat to me. Did you make sure to turn up the opacity of the top layer back to 100%?
