I was looking to add to my blog and was curious as to what else we could do with gimp or photoshop. I googled and found these two pictures. I thought they were both funny and liked to share.

Invisible People

I really liked this assignment. This was the assignment I was most excited about learning how to do. I think the hardest part was figuring out exactly how to position arms and legs to not overlap clothing or be difficult to fill in spot once deleted. After taken several images it became much eaiser. Making the person invisible was actually really simple. The hard part in my opinion was making the collar look right. I had fun overall with this assignment and plan to make more in the future more challenging.

Weekend Experience...:)

Just wanted to share my weekend with all of you to update my blog. I got to attend a tanning convention in Nashville and had an awesome experience! My family and I own the tanning salon here in town and I love everything about it. We got to meet owners from all over the world litereally. There were tanners all the way from Alaska...Crazy!! We got to listen to a guest speaker that owns many chain links salons all over the world. He profited last year 10 million dollars! Man, sure wish we could make that here!!! We got to meet and have supper with some of the Jersey Shore cast at the wild horse saloon. It was a blast! We learned lots of new tips. One of the best things we are bringing to the salon we took with us is a hot new thing that came out on the market called textripple. I think it will be awesome and many businesses should use it. I plan on making a blog soon connected to our facebook so be sure to check it out!!!! Come see us!

Good/Bad Invisible People!

I thought the first four images were all good examples of invisble people. They all made sure the images weren't left white and clothing completely done not missing spots that may have overlapped. The last three are bad images because both guys bodies aren't completely invisble just a certain area. This making it not seem real. The last image wasn't invible. You can still see the image it just blends in with the background.

I really liked this assignment. I thought it was easy to do and not alot of steps to take in order to complete it. The hardest part was figuring out a way to be creative with it. I really enjoyed doing this assignment and cant wait to experience more with it later on!:)

This painting speaks of the gratitude and blessings that a family can bring to your life. I love this painting because of the message it send across. The love and bond a family hold close to your heart means everything. I love the pinks and red used in this painting feeling warmth and comfort that a family brings fit perfect, but like the hints of other color giving it just the right touch. The heart is made of wax would really like to see something like this in person.

I really liked this painting when I found it. I love the way she made her skirt look and how soft the painting just feels in general. The one below is also a painting by her. I have a soft heart for little girls and love that you can see the outline and detail of her face structure but the smudge look gives it a different feel.

Good/Bad Clone Images

I felt the first three were good because they had shadows were they need to be. Their bodies didnt seem to faint out and look ghost-like or their hands appear long and distorted like some of the bad images. The very last one is considered a bad image because in particular the girls image on the window seems stretched out and distorted and even though the sun is coming in still seems to faint. The girl walking toward the coach seems blurred and put there.
